Privacy Policy
Template for owner review. This page describes how the site actually behaves, but it is not legal advice. Add the owner’s legal identity and a working contact address before publishing.
What this policy covers
Esurranty is a free educational and trivia website. This policy explains what information the site collects, where it is stored, and what choices you have. It applies to every page on this site. The site owner is responsible for keeping it accurate for their jurisdiction before publication.
What we do not collect
There is no registration, no login, no payment flow and no newsletter. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or date of birth. There are no advertising pixels, social plugins or third-party analytics scripts running on this site at the time of publication.
Progress stored in your browser
Lessons you read, quiz scores, your daily-challenge streak and any achievement badges are saved in your browser’s local storage under a single key. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to a server, and can be deleted at any time from the My Progress page or by clearing site data in your browser.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, topic and message you enter are stored in the site database so that the site owner can read and respond to them. They are visible only to the site owner. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a contact message.
Quiz activity records
When a quiz or daily challenge is marked, the site records the score and which questions were answered correctly. These records are used to keep score reporting honest and to show aggregate usage statistics to the site owner. They are not linked to an account, because there are no accounts. If you add a nickname to a daily-challenge leaderboard, that nickname and score are shown publicly for that day.
Cookies and advertising
The site does not set cookies for tracking. Display advertising is currently disabled. If advertising is enabled in the future, the ad network may set cookies or similar identifiers, and a consent banner will be shown before any such script runs, with an option to refuse. Legal review of the consent mechanism is recommended before advertising is switched on.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your local progress from the My Progress page. To request deletion of a contact message, or to ask what has been stored about you, use the contact form and select "Privacy request". Include enough detail to identify the message. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the change noted here. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
